The Wobbly H returns with super special guest, Simpsons animator, Chance Raspberry. In this episode, Chance talks about how he became an animator, how he eventually landed his dream job at The Simpsons, and his next big project Little Billy, which is being crowd funded here on Kickstarter. The campaign ends this Saturday (10/20) at 2 p.m. PDT, so visit, donate, share, and share again!
Actor, director, and writer Jared Hillman is our guest this week. Jared talks about getting an early start in the business, his experience in film school, transitioning from New York to LA, as well as his hilarious new short, Tandem.
This week our guest is actor, director, writer, and proud Cleveland native, Mike Robinson. Mike tells us about moving from the Cleve and his approach to acting, writing, and directing. Happy Valentine’s Day! What better way to celebrate a holiday about couples than with a DOUBLE dose of the Wobbly H?
Episode 12: Actor Quinn Danz is this episode’s guest. Quinn talks about growing up in San Francisco, making the big move to Los Angeles, and his personal philosophy on acting. Also included is a needlessly long conversation on hermaphrodites.
Episode 11: No guest in this previously unreleased episode recorded over the holiday season. Enjoy!
This week the gang and actor/improviser Ryan Harvey Pearcy talk about Blake Griffin, the dubious origin of Kwanzaa, and lame New Year’s Resolutions. In all seriousness though, Ryan talks about his coming up as an actor in Arkansas, being in the UCB program, and his goal to not be homeless.
The lovely Charlotte Scovill brings a much needed female presence to the podcast this week as she recounts her experiences as a makeup artist and what she went through to perfect her craft. A Texas native, Charlotte also talks about her love for the Rangers and what it’s like to not grow up on a farm. Did we mention she’s a gamer too?
Thanksgiving week is upon us, which means there’s a lot to be thankful for including TWO new episodes of the Wobbly H. Episode 7 comes sans guest as the teams talks about Conrad’s first commercial, Grant’s Harold audition, and Alex’s stand-up comedy debut. Episode 8 features video game guru, Clayton Chan, who discusses his start in the video game industry as well as other significant experiences working on such legendary games as Final Fantasy VII. Also, we have our first giveaway. Listen closely if you want some free swag. If this doesn’t give you a nerd boner, nothing will.
Episode 7: Bloomin’ Onion
Episode 8: Clayton Chan
What would happen if midget and robot fighting were combined? It’s one of many topics discussed as sketch writer and improviser, Matt Shore, of the Straight Jacket Society comes in as this week’s guest. But seriously, Matt also talks about some of his biggest writing influences in addition to personal musings on why Lebron James might be a tool.
More info on Matt can be found here.
